Some resources present this image as the true Mattice Coat of Arms. I once ordered a book, that offered a few facts about the Mattices. The rest of the book gave a description of early times, and how to find more information. This image was the rendition offered. Some might like this one, but unless I see concrete facts that prove otherwise, I'm putting my money on the people who spent a good part of their lives actually doing the research.
